98 Mazda B4000 (4.0L) Upper Radiator Hose HOT Lower COLD ??

Upper (left) big hose is HOT and the lower (bottom Right) hose and radiator is COLD after driving for 1/2 hour. Temp gauge always on COLD. My water pump ?

That sounds like the radiator is very efficient. I would suspect a bad thermostat not allowing the engine to actually warm up. This usually goes hand in hand with little or no heat inside the vehicle and poor mileage.

If you have tons of interior heat and the gas mileage hasn't started to get bad, then I would suspect a bad temperature sender.

Replaced the THERMOSTAT and the temp guage is back to normal and LOTS of HEAT inside the interior now :)

Only thing is the temperature control can't select cool temps (it did for a minute)...only HOT air.
