Repair shop is going to put Fel-Pro intake manifold gasket when replacing my GM 3.4L OHV V6. Is that the same as the latest release GM gasket part #89017279 according to TSB #03-06-01-010 ? I found the TSB on the web, but not on the GMTechLink. Is this TSB real ? Anyone know ? Some say the Fel-Pro is better, any comment ? PLEASE.

I don't know the answer to yer questions. However, I use Fel-Pro gaskets exclusively-since I don't have failures stemming from their use. Another thing I do is offer the owner the option of switching out the Dex-Cool and going with the green stuff. The local GM dealer has been doing that for years. Personally I don't have any good to say for Dex-Cool. Good luck to you.
