If Ford would add a line of full size pickup trucks (no crew cab stuff) with eight feet long beds on them, I believe they would sell a billion of them. Ford Motor Company, are you listening? cuhulin

Um, dude... You can get the current Super Duty trucks in regular cab, 8' bed configurations. You probably won't find one on a dealer lot, since few people want a regular cab, but they are certainly available.

The farmer that hauls my cattle for me, has a Ford Super Duty exactly like that (regular cab, 8 foot bed). He bought it cheap becasue the dealer had it on the lot and no one seemed to want it.
I see them all the time as "company trucks."

Yep, pretty much just fleet orders, all consumers want at least the next cab size up to provide some interior storage space. If you place your order and wait your 8+ weeks, you can get whatever you want, just don't expect good trade-in or resale value on a regular cab.
