Hit a curb and looking at $1600 dollars to fix it. DIY questions.

I hit a curb at 10mph almost dead on the side of the front driver's side wheel.

Here is the basic list from the shop:

-Measure and pull Unibody front bumper.

-R&I bumper cover

-LT Suspension Assembly w/o axil

-Repl Engine cradle

-Rpr Lt Frame rail end

-New wheel/tire with alignment

I have done suspension work on a Porsche 944S and feel comfortable doing that piece of the job. I have not done an engine cradle so Im not sure what that entails.

If I was to do it myself, does this order of events sound right?

-Tow it to my house

-Remove wheel/suspension

-Replace wheel/suspension

-Replace engine cradle

-Have somebody straighten the frame.

-Make suspension adjustments if necessary.

-Have an alignment done.

Or do I have the shop straighten the frame first?

Ouch....

Don't forget removing the engine and tranny to replace the engine cradle they sit on... That basically is the front quarter frame unit the suspension bolts onto.

The alignment can't be done with bent parts you plan on replacing later. New parts first.
