No more than Australians. The head of state is the Queen, but we have a Gov't appointed rep. that does the job. It goes Parlement ( including PM and all ministers along with the cabinet - as in your secretaries - but otherwise like your house of reps.), Senate (completely separate from Parlement - appointed by PM) Governor General and Queen. To change the constitution requires the Queens signature. Anything else, just works it's way up to the GG.

We presently have 5 different parties sitting in Parlement.

In that era (post WWII to late sixties, maybe a little later), 'three on the tree' column shift manuals were common on entry level cars and trucks. Very prone to crossed linkages and jamming, often replaced by floor shift kits. Hurst sold lots of retrofit kits for those POS's.

Here in the UK between the 50s and 60s you could specify whether you wanted column or floor change, especially on the Vauxhall range of cars.

That Olive Drab Army 1963 1/2 Ton Ford pickup truck gearshift, it was stuck right there where the shift lever joins the joint in the tube going down the steering wheel tube, tube that surrounds the steering wheel shaft.I had already checked the shift linkage under the hood.Maybe I should have been in Motor Pool instead of humping ammo.

The 2 1/2 Ton trucks I drove had automatic shift transmissions. There were two levers sitcking out under the drivers seat. One of the levers put the truck in Grandmaw gear. The other lever put the truck in all wheel drive. The trucks were Governed, top speed was 45 miles per hour.

One time I was playing with the air compressor valve under the dashboard.I ran off the road into a muddy ditch, it felt like swooping down into a great big marshmallow.A few minutes later, another truck stopped by.He called the Air Force to send a wrecker truck to pull me out of the ditch.I told my Army Sgt a bumblebee had caused me to run into the ditch.

He called 1 engine a volcano, talked about sex in this car program, his big belly implies laziness. His long hair co-host said "Everything is invented by british", both are nuts. I would not watch if this program is not f-o-c on air.

Henry Ford really did put the World on Wheels.

I reckon that is part of the reason I own a 1914 Ford Model T Runabout Roadster Car.And also three Model T frames and three Model T engine transmission/units and three Model T front axels and three Model T rear axels and three Model T radiators and forty seven Model T wheels and a bunch of other Model T parts. cuhulin

So ... You're still looking for the rest of the bodies, or are all the axles, frames, motors, wheels, etc., just spare parts to keep the one running?

Body parts and other Model T parts are available to build a snazzy looking Model T Ford Speedster. Also, other kinds of bodies.

I don't think I am too bad at carpentry, I can get the wood floor measurements from my Model T Runabout Roadster car and adlib the rest of the wood parts.

I know a guy who lives about 100 miles South of me.He has the detailed plans/measurements.He once built his own Model T Speedster. It looks very nice too. cuhulin

So they don't all work together then. A bit like H. Fords strong arm tactics with the unions apart from the other un-justices he did to you and your country.

No. That's what incensed a lot of the Irish, the insensitivity of the commander, just one man. But Noraid only fuelled the conflagration, by buying arms for the paramilitary groups, who then brought their bombs to the mainland. North America has a lot to answer for.

How did 1 man block these killers' punishment ? Do these killers still carry guns & patrol in northern ireland i.e. free to kill more irish ? If yes, no wonder IRA is bombing again.

| Noraid only fuelled the conflagration How come Noraid did not protest outside white house when your PM`s went there, or call for boycott of english products ?
