I need a replacement antenna mast for the OEM power antenna on the rear fender of SWMBO's 98 Olds.
The nylon cable which pushes and pulls the mast is ROUND, and about .130" diameter. The power antenna unit gets removed from the car and disassembled to install the new mast. I've done this job before on other GM cars with busted off antennas, so I know how it goes.
I've wasted my and sellers' time trying to buy one of these; The last guy who said he had just what I needed shipped me a mast with a toothed nylon strip on it, and I had to return it to him, which didn't help either of us.
Pointers to a seller who can ID this part correctly would be appreciated. I'd like to fix the OEM unit in the car rather than stick in a universal aftermarket one, and I won't pay nearly $200 for a whole new GM assembly.
