Re: Repair Manual For 1994 GMC Sierra 1500

I have the Haynes manual. Don't like it. The truck has a V6. Any >suggestions?

I find the Haynes manuals generally a lot better than the Chiltons, but I've never used GMC manuals for either.

GM will sell you a full shop manual. It will be expensive, and it will be worth every penny, especially if you run into electrical problems.

GM doesn't MAKE any manuals. Helm does. However I believe they dropped the older vehicles. You should be able to find them used though. You might want to look at Mitchell online.

Helm is the company that actually prints the GM factory manuals. They also print Ford, American Honda, Isuzu and Hyundai manuals.

They also have an online service where you can view the information.

When they were current stock Helm got $150.00, when they closed them out they were getting about $50.00

Those will tell you FAR more than any aftermarket manual.
