My 1994 Chevy Blazer full-size 4wd SUV makes a snapping noise in the ac blower area under the right side dash (above passenger's feet). Noise occurs on startup, after engine shutdown, and after selecting ac on/off, or when moving fresh air/recirc switch. Snapping noise lasts for about 10 seconds, and can be felt/mitigated by pressing up on the flapper valve which allows fresh air into the cabin. I am told there are 3 actuators involved in this, two for temp and one for flapper actuation. I can see an actuator mounted high on the left side of the system, and I can feel the snapping. Is this the problem, and if so, how do I lower the unit to replace this actuator? Thanks for the help.
