1987 toyota p.u. 22r carburator will not idle.

Well here goes hope you can help.I have 87 toyota p.u. with 22r that will not idle.I let the truck sit for two years because the manual clutch was out and had oil leaks. The truck ran perfect when I parked it.I finally got around to pulling the engine and fixing the cluch and all the oil leaks. After I got it back together, it will not idle.I got all the old gas out and put fresh in.I rebuild the carburator and still the same result. The only things that were not replaced is the idle stop solenoid and another solenoid beside of it.I can put a rag over the carburator and it will idle.I know that this is an indication of a vaccum leak but after spraying heavily around the intake with carb. spray i can not find one.I have checked power and grounds to the idle solenoid and are good.I have already spent 50.00 dollars on the carb. and was wondering(before spending anymore) if that idle solenoid could be my problem or not.I hope there is a toyota specialist around.

When you rebuilt the carburetor, did you clean or replace the jets? Did you clean all the varnish out?

Did you check all of the vacuum lines and connections for a vacuum leak or just around the intake?

You can confirm or eliminate a vacuum leak as the cause by using a vacuum gauge.
