1991 sr5 4x4 starting problem

My 91 sr5 will turn but it won't start up. I've looked Into the fuel pump but don't think that's it. Could it be some kind of sensor that's making it not start?

Check for spark at the plugs and go backwards. Could be an ignition problem, IE: coil, etc, or even a broke timing belt.. Hard to guess. It has to be diagnosed. And it's possible it could be fuel, but I would verify it's getting spark before I checked that. The pump has a relay which possibly could be flaky, etc.. It's best to test fuel with a pressure gauge. I rigged up a gauge for that with a drilled out bolt that fits the "banjo"?? type fitting, and a hose long enough I can have it in the car when driving if I want. You are more likely not getting spark I bet.. :|
