2000 Camry: how to determine America made or Japan made?

I'm looking for a driver side mirror replacement part for my 2000 Camry CE. I went to two websites, and both asked me whether my car was made in America or Japan? How do I find that out? The choices are:

Electric, heated, L., Japan built Electric, heated, L., North American built Electric, heated, R., Japan built Electric, heated, R., North American built Electric, non-heated, L., Japan built Electric, non-heated, L., North American built Electric, non-heated, R., Japan built Electric, non-heated, R., North American built

It's coded in the VIN, one of the first 4 characters, but I don't know which one.

If the first character of the VIN is a "J", then it is Japan built. If the first character is a numeral, then it is North America Production.

The Camry CE probably does not have heated side mirrors that melt snow when the rear defogger is on unless you got it as part of some package.

The driver's mirror is the Left side.
