camry wheel size

Hi,

I've got a 2007 Camry with 215/60/R16 tires and I am planning to get a

2nd set of wheels with snow tires to put on (winter isn't really all that far away you know!!). Any how....I've got an opportunity to get a set of 4 215/65/R15 blizzaks with 9100km on them that came off a 2000 Sienna. Just based on tire size there isn't a whole lot of difference, my odometer may read slightly higher than my acutal speed ( within 1/2 mph). Is anyone aware of any reasons why I wouldn't want to put these on my car (ie. are the rims compatable with respect to lugs & offset? ).

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy

215 the tires diameter, 60 the tires width while 15 and 16 the rims diameter. You cant put a 15 inch tire on a 16 inch rim as far as i know. If it comes with rims then the lugs wont be an issue.

Camry 1992-2006 5x114.3 12x1.50 21mm 60.1 +45 15x6.5 F39 49 51 54 86 87 88 (52) 4,6

4 - Check front & rear caliper clearance. 6 - Use 12x1.50mm 60° taper seat nuts.

5x114.3 indicates 5 lug holes, 114.3mm apart. 12x1.50 is the lug nut ID.Thread. +45 is the wheel offset, 15x6.5=15" diameter, 6.5" wide. The other numbers I don't know off the top of my head. 4,6 are 'Notes' 4 + 6 posted above.

Stock Tire: Sidewall: 5.1" Radius: 13.1" Diameter: 26.2" Circumference: 82.2" Rav/Mile: 771.0

New Tire Sidewall: 5.5" Radius: 13.0" Diamter: 26.0" Circumference: 81.7" Revs/mile: 776

Speedometer reading with non-stock tire is 0.6% too fast. When your speedo reads 60MPH, you are actually travelling 59.6 MPH

In other words, negligible. These will fit on your car easy.

They will also fit my Mazda. Let me know if you don't want them! ;)

I run 16" summer tires on my 2000 Camry and 15" Blizzaks on their own rims in the winter. As you noted, mileage may be off slightly but the lug pattern is critical, but it works for me.
