"Evaporative emissions leak": Corolla?

My 04 Corolla sedan has a constant check engine light. I put my code readoer on it and it reported: "Evaporative emissions control system leak (minor)". Would this be the evaporative canister? A vacuum leak? What to check?

The vent valve, the purge valve, the lines, the canister, the gas cap, the filler pipe.

EVAP leaks are often exceedingly easy to fix. If tightening the gas cap doesn't do it, replacing the gascap usually does.

The evap sensor senses vapor pressure in the fuel tank. IF the cap isn't sealed, pressure drops low, and the evap sensor senses that condition, and the engine controller sets the code.
