Ford sales nose dive 21%

Granted the fall off has something to do with the economy or housing market... but when you see Ford take a 21% nose dive, and Toyota only a 4% nose dive... you know who has the superior product...

GM sales were up 4%. So GM makes a superior product than Toyota? I don't think so.

You also have to consider that Ford is cutting back on fleet sales, sells a higher proportion of trucks, and doesn't have a hybrid car (the Escape is not a car).

To say that sales figures or sales trends alone indicates which is a better product is naive, at best.

Sure, over the long haul. Do I have to point out Toyota's success. There are some things that go without saying.

BTW, is FORD working on a hybrid right now? Or anything of that nature?

I know GM is working hard on some technologies.

Ford already HAS a hybrid, the Escape hybrid. They've been selling it for

3 - maybe 4 - years. If a Ford exec reads your post, he'll probably burst into tears.
