Modifying electric windows

Has anyone modified electric windows on a ?05 Toyota Corolla or similar model that could help me out with hooking the electric windows up to the battery so the windows can be rolled up and down w/o the key?

Invest in a factory repair manual if you want to take this on. If the power windows have the "delay" feature where you can still operate the windows for about 30 seconds after you turn the car off or until you open the door, it will have 2 different power sources - 1 switched and 1 from a timer.

Should be fairly simple, find the power wire and splice in a constant supply. But make damn sure it's fused. Even if the fuse is hidden inside the dash somewhere, ensure you have one. All too easy to set a car on fire from bad wiring.

You might want to invest in a hidden switch for this power line though, for possible security reasons.
