Just a possible guess.. who knows...
Stocks surge today on news that Saudis intend to pump 200 to 500 k extra a day...
However... the news will be short lived... opec and big oil will find a way to continue the rape...

Thanks, Nostradamus. I'm looking forward to your appearance on CNBC later today.
The US should start to pump 2,000,000 barrels a day, into the American oil market, from the Reserve to dampen the futures market and make the commodities traders lose some big bucks for a while
I wouldn't want to have a lot of money tied up in oil right now.
Why not? The price went up again today.
Don't quit your day job.
Don't worry. My day job keeps people like you alive. I would not keep you from having life.
Between the Saudis, George Soros, and possibly other entities, no doubt we'll see manipulation in one direction or another leading up to the elections.
Bill Putney (To reply by e-mail, replace the last letter of the alphabet in my address with the letter 'x')
Don't ask him to explain and then discredit him before he has a chance to answer. Soros has been running his mouth about the oil bubble for the past 6 months and creating all kinds of panic, chaos, and conspiracies.
I wouldn't count on that.

...using quotation marks as shown. This goes way back in history, something you've never read. We and the British have a habit of giving each other the benefit of the doubt sometimes to ill effect. To an extent, it's because they're probably the best ally we have when it comes to spy work, which certainly has value. But, they obviously follow us into toilets like Iraq when they would've been better off not to.
Could explain how George Soros has influence over oil prices? Try to stay within the bounds of rationality.
=========================
Actually, he's right about Soros, but he probably doesn't know why. Hedge funds aren't exactly guilty of manipulating oil prices any more than you & I are guilty of manipulating the price of a stock we buy. But, the hedge funds
*do* play in the oil futures markets with huge sums of money, and they need price movement in order to make profits, just as with stocks.MotorsForum website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here.
