OT: If I were a scurrilous person...

I'd have me a nice new Gateway 17" black LCD flat panel monitor...

It showed up in my 'parts bin' last Friday. No ticket number, no Cust Ref number, nothing. I finally got a chance to call Gateway...

This item is in limbo. No one knows where it goes, who it belongs to, what customer gets it, what service ticket, nothing. It's like they shipped it to my parts bin on a whim.

Perhaps it's a "Welcome Aboard" present or something. Alas. It goes back to Gateway unused on Monday...

Considering what they pay me, I'd rather keep the job than the monitor...

If you were a liberal you would think you were "entitled" to that laptop and take it because your employer is screwing you in some way and this is the way to get back at them..

Well, I dunno about that. Oh, wait...when I was a Liberal, I used to think I was being screwed by the company and would fanagle 'extras' whenever I could.
