That money is being put to good use. It has already severely hampered terrorism and kept attacks from occurring on the homeland for now. My only complaint is that it hasn't been used in a more expeditious manner. Several well-placed near-nuke explosives would have drawn the insurgency down much quicker.

World wide we are about 45 percent less terrorist attacks worldwide since 2001. I'd say our war against world wide terrorism is working. We can do better and we will with President McCain.

Without cause of death, the stats are completely meaningless. Someone else already fixed your problem last time you posted this.

The sad truth is young American males are safer in ANY city in Iraq than ANY city in the US. More Americans die violently in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, than in Baghdad. The locals now refer to the city as Killadelphia. More Americans will die in auto accidents this weekend, than will die over the next six months, in Iraq. I surprised the lefty kooks have not yet figured out how to blame President Bush for those deaths

Over the years many American have and always will, volunteer step to the front to fight for this country whether others think the fight is worth the cost or not. Most of us that did volunteer got to come home. Monday those that did come home get to honor others that did and those that did not get to come home. We should all honor those who fight for others and for their families that give up so much.

For the past several weeks I have been up here at my place on the Outer Banks. I am the parade Grand Marshal and the speaker for the Memorial Day festivities up on the mainland. I guess I got the job because there are not many of WWII vets still able to walk and speak. I'll be here till the end of the month then I'm heading to Nashville, the week of the fourth, for a contest and convention of an international singing group to which I belong. After that I'm going to a friend's house in ocean City New Jersey for a month. I'll a bit past 82 now and my "young" wife wants me to slow down some so she can catch up ;)
