Our tax dollars being wasted further. Our country's reputation further sullied. More reasons for people to hate us.

It's the perfect job for anyone who loves killing as a pastime. Get paid to do what you love. Everyone's dream.

Blackwater ought to create a recruiting poster for the company showing Stallone as Rambo, cradling a machine gun and blasting away.....and a tagline of "all this and Ten Grand a month too!"

Considering the content of his posts, I seriously doubt anyone gets past the first syllable.

Actually, that was an interesting post & article. I'm sure you agree that Blackwater's agents need a behavioral trim.

Trim? I'm against their being used in the first place.

True, but until they disconnect financially from whichever government officials are being paid to keep the company involved, they're gonna be around.

From link: "The media network concluded that the guards were killed "without any provocation." [end quote]

A *business* (thriving on the back of taxpayers) founded by the same person who co-founded The Family Research Council with Christian conservative Gary Bauer, also affiliated with Christian Solidarity International (CSI) and Institute of World Politics going around in a Muslim part of the world killing Muslims indiscriminately.

Is it just me that sees something wrong with this picture?

I think it's completely shameful that they're being used, period. Anyone in the government found to be tied to them financially should be forced to resign and undergo investigation.

Why, they're private contractors there to perform a specific task, protect people from attack. If they fucx up they should be held accountable. Otherwise they are no different than say Brinks or any other security company.

But, they are NOT held accountable, which you'd know if you read the news. When our regular soldiers f*ck up, they're in for a world of trouble at best.

It's privatization of what should be the functions and tasks of our military. Cut-rate, cut-throat, and sub-par.

Relax, its just the logical extension of free market ideology and God's will. Coming soon to your grandchildren's neighborhood, the for profit police department. Complete with all the latest high tech weaponry and crowd control utensils from Lockheed Martin and Boeing.

Why should our military be guarding Iraq politicians and other important Iraq civilians? Iraq needs to guard it's own or hire outside help such as a private security firm if they can't trust their own police to do the job.

I hope you know where it started in earnest, Al Gore under the Clintoon administration. Gore took Reagans ideas and ran with it. Remember Gore on the tonight show with a stack of government specs and then he tossed them in a garbage can. The privatization of government all started back in the clintoon era. It's been carried over and expanded. I don't agree with it either.
