Photos of 2008 Highlander with Trailer Hitch?

Can't seem to find any photos showing how low the hitch protrudes below the bumper, etc. Anyone have a '08 Highlander and can shoot photos or have better Google search skills than me?

A properly built hitch does not protrude from under the bumper at all, except for the 2" square receiver tube itself (that has to be exposed to fit the receiver) the rest of the hitch should be tucked away behind the bumper and out of sight.

You aren't going to drive from New Jersey to Los Angeles just to get a hitch, but there have to be custom hitch shops near you that can do it right. Go to the photo gallery to see what 'right' looks like.

And they can totally hide the receiver tube if you want to make some more invasive modifications - one trick is to flip up the license plate to use the hitch.

You will not find this on anything "premade" at the Auto Parts Store because "One Size Fits All" is an oxymoron. Works yes, Fits no.

(No connection to them, other than a satisfied customer for a good 8 hitches over the years. Not one of which looked as bad as some of the pre-made crap I've seen on the market.)

And worst case they can make you one and ship it pre-assembled, and you can get a local certified structural welder to install it. That is NOT a job for a "Tombstone" 100-amp AC buzz box and an amateur welder. They use 500-Amp wirefeed welders to make sure it sticks.
