I don't know about France in this regard, but like the other nations with socialized medicine, coverage is universal, and costs and mortality rates are lower. Drugs and treatments are developed privately in those nations, just as they are here, meaning a great deal of socialism is involved both here (most drugs are created by US universities with government funds) and there.
Blackwater is run along military lines, and nearly all its people in Iraq are former soldiers, and they're armed with much heavier weaponry than required for security guard duty. I can't be certain about McCain, but apparently he didn't really want the 2003 invasion. OTOH the Real President Bush would have definitely avoided a second Iraq war because he had said so, many times, through his surrogates, especially his best friend and former national security advisor, Brent Scowcroft, who wrote many newspaper columns in opposition to the war. Even the Iraq Study Group was the Real President Bush's effort to get us out of Iraq, and it wasn't just a coincidence that former Secretary of State James Baker headed it.
They would followed the obvious shining examples of successful peace and copied the occupations of post WWII Japan and Germany. Heck, anybody who wasn't a cocaine-damaged imbecile would have handled it that way.
