Rain Guards...

Hi all,

I was thinking of getting some rain guards for my 2002 Corolla. Yes, it doesn't rain often in Fresno but I thought it made the car look a little more sleeker.

What do you all think? It's obviously a personal preference.

I have a tan colored Corolla like this one:

The rain guards look like:

What do you think? My windows are not tinted. Think they'd look OK prior to tinting? Think I should get windows tinted first?

Anyway, just something I thought about doing. Curious what you guys think. :-)

Regards,

Steve

I think rain guards or vent shades are good for people who often drive with their windows cracked open as they minimize the amount of water dripping on to power window switches. I know a few people who have them and they do not seem to make much wind noise.

As far as tinting prior or after installation, I don't think it makes any difference.

Get the kind that is held on with adhesive because drilling or using screws will probably cause rust.

Steve, you want a Corolla to look "sleek"? or "sleeker"?

Here's how - Remove the gas cap Drive the Corolla away and park it up the street. Drive a Scion TC into the place formerly occupied by the Corolla Install the Corolla gas cap on the Scion. done. (and forget about the rain shields, they just make the Corolla look dowdier than it already is.)

Why do you ever open the windows, other than to clean them, pay tolls, exercise the mechanisms, or eat at a drive-in?

If you want to make your car look sleek, think fins, especially a third one in the middle.

Why do you find it necessary to pimp up an otherwise fine vehicle? Do you have a small dick that you have to compensate for?

Sounds like you want to offer up some tips.

No. I just thought it might look nicer but after reading the comments here and doing some more 'looking' I decided against it.

Everything currently on my vehicle -- is stock. No modifications of any kind. You might watch your comments.

Don't worry, Sharx compensates for his small limp dick by using derogatory language, cussing, and profanity, typical for people with those kind of social behavior.

And if I *don't* "watch" my comments?

That, coming for an idiot, so naive that he worships at the font of losing, left-wing LIEbrawl lies.

You always have that to say, can't you think of any other lame words for us?
