The road requires cooperation, not extreme competition

I'm talking in general. A well managed road should have place for the slow and the fast, just different lanes, always predictable: slow on inner lane, fast on outside lane.

This philosophy may be summed up as "live and let live."

The problem is those who sit on the passing lane holding everybody back. The road requires cooperation, not extreme competition. And this proves my revolution right.

You have it backwards. Slow to the shoulder or outside, fast to the center or inside. I think I found the problem...

That's the short version. The long version is that there rules to put a minimun speed in a highway. For security reasons.

Are you ever wrong, or what?

it's the ONLY version that's being played out in real life, every day.

And whether you like it or not, you have to play in the real world.

You could have said it the way I said it, and it would be correct for any location. Slow traffic always is to the shoulder or outside of the roadway, faster traffic is to the center or inside of the roadway.

You're an idiot. It turns out you are a confused idiot.

You got to be kidding. You want people to drive on the shoulder?

That's not allowed around here. And it can get you shot in Texas...

+++++++++++++++++++++++++ You are more of an idiot than I could imagine.

The shoulder is the outside lane when there is more than one lane. YOU said that the slow traffic should drive in the inside lane which is nearer to the center of the roadway, but the standard around the world is that slow traffic drives on the outside lane.

How f---ing stupid can you be?

Whether traffic drives on the left or the right, the outside is always to the shoulder and the inside is to the center. No f---ing wonder you have so much trouble riding your bike in a universe filled with cars. You ignore stop signs and traffic lights, and you ride on the wrong portion of the roadway. You are one confused individual.
