One reads it cost domestics an average of $1,200 more per vehicle to provide the excellent benefit their worker enjoy. Since Toyota us saving $1,200 per vehicle by apparently providing much less desirable benefit for their worker, why does it cost 20% more to buy their vehicles than those sold by GM, Ford and Chrysler?

Toyota is touting the Tundra's ability to tow and stop while pulling 10,000 Lb load. I guess Toyota doesn't know the GM, Ford and Chrysler trucks are built to do the same, but with 10,500 Lb in tow, and for thousands less. Speaking of the 2007 Tundra, the best Toyota has to offer, the Silverado recently beat the Tundra in a head to head comparison to win Motor Trends Truck of The Year award. Domestic beat the Toyota trucks, where it counts most, in sales. In 2006 Ford had 35% of the truck market, GM 30%, Chrysler

20% and Toyota a measly 5%. The only truck that sold less than the Tundra was the Titan, at 3% ;)

Actually, the 2007 Tundra was not included in Motor Trend's 2007 Truck of the Year testing because it was not introduced by their January 1 deadline.
