Toy. parts source in L.A. on a Sunday

Daughter w/ emergency car repair. Need to find a radiator of her Paseo tomorrow, Sunday, in L.A. area. Specifically Hollywood but can't afford to be picky. Thanks for any help. Oh, and prefer not to pay Toy's OEM price of $381+.

Only suggestion I have is to call around to the regional chains and find a store that has the radiator or access to get one.

NAPA is the least slimy of the bunch around here I've dealt with, they have the highest percentage of people who actually know parts, and they sell to a lot of repair shops so they try to get it right the first time.

(Burn a pro shop with bad parts where they have to eat the labor to redo the work, and it doesn't matter that they got another part for free. You cost them time, time is money, they stop buying from you.)

NAPA has access to all the major brands, and might have someone in the warehouse on a Sunday - they can send a runner to get the part. Or they look in the computer and see which store has one on the shelf.

And if you are a AAA/ACSC member, they do the "Show Your Card & Save" program where you get a discount (IIRC 8%) off the ticket.

If it's a copper core radiator with brass tanks they can be rebuilt, if you can find the time to take the car out of service and the radiator out and get it done. But if you have to be done tomorrow, that's out.

If it's the aluminum core with the crimped on plastic tanks, it's meant to be disposable - repairs may not last long before something else goes wrong.
