Toyota chief tops Motor Trend list of industry "Power Brokers"

Motor Trend magazine has deemed Toyota chief Fujio Cho the automotive industry's most influential player according to its 2007 Power Brokers list, released to newsstands today. Cho, chairman of Toyota Motors Corp., was ranked No. 1 among those who exert the most "influence and impact on the automotive landscape," the magazine announced.

Coming in second was Rick Wagoner, chairman of General Motors Corp., while Ford CEO Alan Mullaly ranked 17th on the third annual Power Brokers roster. The ranking is determined by Motor Trend editors; a complete list is available in its February 2007 issue.
