That was on the news a few weeks ago for a day or so then nothing more. IIrc it was either the DoD or VA or both. It had to do not with head wounds but PTSD on those who claimed a disability, some after 4 tours. Anyway the VA or DoD claimed that it was a preexisting condition and was denying all claims on that ground. Seems we were there a number of years ago with Agent Orange and PTSD claims.

Suit yourself. and people will pay just as much (or as little) mind to what you say as usual. You are clearly not the Oracle of Delphi.

Is there anything on Usenet better than accidental irony?

Stars & Stripes. Hmmm. "Stars and Stripes is a daily newspaper published for the U.S. military, DoD civilians, contractors, and their families. Unique among the many military publications, Stars and Stripes operates as a First Amendment newspaper, free of control and censorship."

Sounds like a left wing source to me.

Our GI's should have the best treatment for any injuries while in the service. There is no compromise on that. Congress should make sure the money is there and the president should sign the bill or whatever the hell it takes. No debate about it.
