03 Camry turn signal too quiet

I see that Autozone has a Tridon loud LF12 flasher for this car or an LF12-K kit that is supposed to change 3 prong to 2 prong plus enough wire to reposition the flasher to a different area. Has anyone done this or does Toyota have a solution for the quiet turn signal?

Have you contacted your Toyota dealer to inquire about this JW? I find my turn signal very quite also, however, that's how I like it. As an aside, I just got back from visiting my brother who has a Ford Freestyle. It's turnsignal sounds like a turkey clucking. Very annoying.

Fords ARE turkeys. Thank you for playing.

== Rather than re wiring why not try using the lane change feature? I've never had a problem with the turn signal self cancelling on turns, and for lane changes you just press it down far enough to signal without clicking into place so when you release pressure it stops.

I can't hear any type of "clicker" when I utilize my '03 signals...But as Daniel said, don't press all the way into lock position unless you are making a true left or right turn and you won't have a problem. Good solution, I think.....

Install this instead. The turn signal will never bother you again...

I can understand why some would need a loud one. Have you ever heard UPS trucks' flashers? You can hear them a block away.

The earlier electronic ones for some reason click just like the mechanical flashers, but the later ones are very quiet. Trying to get a loud electronic flasher today is probably just a craps shoot. But Tridon recognized the need for this so they still make a loud mechanical one.

You might want to call Trid> I see that Autozone has a Tridon loud LF12 flasher for this car or
