1989 Toyota Camry - Warning light on dash for door won't go off - draining battery

Hi,

The dashboard door warning light won't go off even though all doors appear to be closed. I know I should just take it to a shop but I am trying to find a quick fix until I can deal with it later. The problem is when I leave the car the battery is just draining since the dash light won't go off. Any suggestions?

Also does anyone know where the fuse box is located in the car? I know the under the hood fuse box but I think if I just remove the fuse that controls the dashboad lights it would be fine. I wouldn't drive it like that but just when I park so it wouldn't drain the battery. Does anyone know where it is located? Thanks

Check eBay for an Owner's manual to learn all the fuse locations and functions.

Usually they're really reasonably priced.

You can wiggle the door switches, one at a time to see if the light extinguishes. Usually tho, the light wont come on due dirt inside the plunger,..but maybe the same applies.
