1993 Toyota Camry 4 Cyl.

I'm looking for some help with my Camry. Occasionally the parking lights will be on, and stay on, after doing some day time driving without the use of any lights and only having used the turn signals and alarm system.. The lights I refer to are 2 lights at each fender and are the same lights that flash on/off when I use the remote to lock/unlock the car. I initailly thought it was either the multi- function switch or a relay(stuck in the on position). I have been able to remedy the problem (but only temporarily as it will re-occur later

- sometimes after a week or so). The remedial action I take is: disconnect the negative battery terminal, pull several related fuses, reconnect the battery cable and re-install the fuses. Lo and behold every thing works great for a period of time and then the same condition will reoccur. This problem started happening over the last

4-5 months.

I am now suspicious the problem is related to the alarm system since this is the only real link to the specifiec lights involved. I would welcome any suggestions that may help me permanently solve the problem. Also I would like to know where the taillight relay is located on my car.

Thanks, Richard S. (a new member)
