93 Camry Radio/CD player issues

I recently attempted to change the radio in my 93 Camry to a CD player, but none of the CD players I tried had ports that matched the one that used to connect to the radio. Which ones work best? Also, I was thinking about installing driving lights into my car, but I got lost somewhere in the process. Any ideas/tips/suggestions?

buy your stereo there and they provide the correct wiring harness adapter to make it a PLUG-IN Installation. Its also a Bolt-In install too. You reuse the OE brackets on your factory radio.

I think crutchfield.com will also do very well. they have a lot of manuals.

I'm sure most people prefer to substitute newer, better quality units, but I was able to find the original premium version AM/FM/Casette/CD Toyota player that sold for $500 originally as an option on the XLE. Located on eBay after searching over a period of time. Was for the exact same year. Plugged right in. Appearance matches dash exactly. Everything still works fine, except one of the bulbs for illumination is out. Very, very nice having a CD player. Changes the driving experience substantially. Even with stock speakers, sounds great to me.

Very easy. Spend 10 dollars for a wiring harness and buy a name brand cd player. keep in mind the stock speakers will only handle 15-20 watts continous, so a 200 watt cd player might be too much. If you buy a newer cd deck, the wiring harness attached to the player and the harness you purchase will have matching color wires (red to red, white to white). Also I just did this in my camry and the OE mounting brackets screwed right into the new player and it screwed right into the dash.
