98 Toyota Camry Head lights & parking lights won't turn on after installing remote starter

I installed the bulldog remote starter and it works. But, my headlights and parking lights won't turn on after that. The light in the dash board also won't turn on. I even removed the remote starter unit and still my lights won't on. All other accessories work well and the car runs fine. I checked the fuse and it is ok.The lights work fine when I flick the high beam ( I mean when I pull the light switch toward the steering wheel and hold, the high beam works fine). Can someone help me to find what might be the problem. All the garages are closed until after christmas and I need to drive th car. Thanks for your help in advance.

The headlights and parkers both have circuitry which runs thru the ignition/starting switching. This is why you can leave the lights on in camrys, but they will extinguish when the car is turned off,..then, will come back on when you next start the car. Somehow you must gave altered the existing wiring while installing the remote starter. It may just be a wire off a relay-terminal or you didnt return the original wiring to normal when you removed the remote starter. You'll have to go over each step and check every fuse in the fuse-boxs.

Also, look under the hood at the Fusible Links You may have zapped one when you installed the starter. They are in the box under the hood, generally behind the battery. The Fusible links are large, plug in 'modules', pink for 30 amps, green for 60 amps, etc.

Aslo, where did you tap the power from? I put driving lights in my Scion and inadvertantly tapped the fan connection, so once the fan came on, it STAYED on! Check carefully which circuit you tapped!

Thanks everyone. Actually I pulled the wire from the light switch. I have to take it to a mechanic to get it fixed.
