I'm not asking for the master unlock code just the key combo to get it from HELP so I can enter the 6 digit code. Can anyone help me before I replace with aftermarket radio?
Yota 4Rnr battery went dead after 4+ years (radios are interchangeable with yota models). I recall setting the radio anti-theft code but (argh) never wrote it down. Tried all my favorite PIN 3 digit combos. After 9 tries got the lock - so now it says HELP. I did find a 6 digit unlock sequence but how do you enter it? --- same key combo as entering your unlock code? I understand dealer can unlock but not sure real value on a '93 OEM radio. It worked fine before the battery konked out. Anyne ever reset with the code and do you know the keys to use to enter? There are alos several online sites that offer the unlock code for about $25 --- do they work or is it crawl to dealer?
