Clutch is not smooth when starting to roll

Could use some advice. When starting out from a stop the car does not smoothly get the car rolling. It is barely noticable after 10 minutes of driving. The clutch was replaced for this problem and after 12 months it is back again.

What do you think is up? PS no other symtoms.

How many miles?

Betting nobody bothered to turn/replace the flywheel! If it gets a rough surface on it the clutch chatters. Lasts for a few seconds, then all other shiftfs (2,3,4,5) are nice and smooth as they should be.

In addition to Hachi's remark,..I'd like to add that a slowly leaking rear-crankshaft seal can produce the same symptom. My rear c/shaft seal is leaking and causes the clutch to judder or vibrate when moving off or reversing especially after a long trip or after standing for a few days. All other gears are OK.

What happens is, some oil gets past the seal in question. It maybe only a little bit at atime, but it eventually gets slung under centrifugal force to the clutch-bell-housing. It then drips down onto the clutch assemble. When enough has collected there, it fouls the clutch plate causing the problem.

A badly leaking rear seal will cause the clutch to slip,...but in that case the oil will also drip freely from the bottom drain-hole directly under the clutch bell-housing. Check this area for any oil-wetness or staining.
