I got the plastic cover off (the little plastic retainers are a pain to pry out), anyway, do they twist out or what. There's virtually no room to turn them either way. Don't want to break anything so I thought I'd check if their was a secret or special method before I take the whole assembly off.

I was going in from the trunk. I've got the plastic off the inner wall of the trunk, but there's almost no room to touch the connector on the marker light, let alone turn it either way. My last resort will be to remove the entire lamp assembly for easier access.
