In the past many people have pointed out mistakes and omissions on the Gates chart.
Here are a couple more sources. Hopefully they are more accurate.
On the second listed site, the 1.6L DOHC (toyota 4A-GE) is asterisked, meaning Interference. Again, this is not an interference engine. The 1.5 is listed as Interference, this is true for the 3A-C but NOT the
