Mystery Exhaust Noise

Drove my 2002 Camry on snowy/slushy highways. The temperature dropped below freezing . Parked the car overnight, the next morning it was 7 degrees, Now when starting the car cold there is a real noticeable exhaust leak, like when the header pipe has become separated from the muffler. After driving the car for about 10 miles the noise disappears and it sounds normal. Next morning it's noisy again. Is something stuck, like a ERG valve? Don't remember hitting any frozen slush while driving the first night. any help will be appreciated.

======== Part of the recommended standard maintenance is checking the torque of the exhaust system fasteners. Sounds like some a just loose enough to allow leaks when cold.
