I would say yes to both questions. The warrany is 3 yrs, 36k miles unless they changed it from 2001 to 2002. davidj92

AZ sells a new ODB 2 code tester that will tell you the code and reset the "Check Engine" lite.( $89 ) Was on sale in last Sundays Paper ad. Good Luck.......

Or, have Autozone read the code(s) for free.

To reset the light, pull the negative battery cable for 30 seconds.

I know, rude and crude, but the price is right.

Not all OBD-II codes can be reset by disconnecting power.
