urgent question for 1993 Toyota camry

I have a 1993 Toyota Camry V6 LE. Yesterday, while driving Iheard a belt slip, and the a/c power light on the climate control panel started blinking. All my intsruments and my power windows went dead, but my radio stayed on. I checked the fuses and found one that had blown and replaced it. Everything worked fine again until I tried turning the a/c on and it blew the same fuse again. Sounds like the a/c is drawing to much power now, but I don?t know how or why or how to fix it, please help! Summer is coming and I live in Florida! I need my a/c!

Sounds like the AC compressor clutch-solenoid-coil may have thrown in the claw. Try unplugging the wire which runs from the compressor clutch (there's only one wire to the compressor),..and replace the fuse and check again,...if it doesn't blow this time you will need an AC mechy unfortunately.
