I think it was "wp51" who stated:

Any place that sells car batteries has a book with all the information you're requesting. Put in the particulars of the car and it will show you which battery to put in it.

If you're asking which BRAND of battery, that's a different kettle o' fish!

I live in Phoenix. The heat here is tough on batteries. I bought a new Tacoma in July 2000. The original Delco battery failed in Sept. 2002 , 2 or 3 years is about the average life for battery here. The dealer put in a Toyota TrueStart battery at that time and that battery is still in there. I cant believe is has last ed over 4 years and still is going strong. I know Toyota does not build batteries but I sure would like to know who made this battery for them. When this battery fails I will go to my dealer and get another TrueStart. Scott

Some manufacturers off North and South versions of the same battery. You should probably get one that offers this choice.

The South batteries are better built in terms of construction to withstand the heat. But this leaves less room inside the battery for lead plates and fluid, so the cold cranking power is less than in a North battery (but this is usually not a problem in you live the South).

One of the brands that offers North and South versions is Diehard. However, I don't believe that Diehard sells and exact fit Gold model (premium) 24F for a Camry, and they end up using a smaller size that has even less cold cranking amps that would be the case if you can find a premium South 24F model.
