1988 Toyota Pickup Won't fire 22R

Over the past 8 years, it has been the typical Toyota, flawless. Yesterday when I got in to start it she would crank but not start. Fuel is present, no spark, changed the coil and ignitor, still no spark.Rotor turns on the distributor. All fuses good. Could the ECM be the cause of my lack of spark, suggestions appreciated !! It ran fine when I parked it before it's no start situation.

My '88, 22R did something like that a couple of years ago. I'm trying to remember if it wouldn't crank, or if it cranked and wouldn't start. Either way, it turned out to be the 10 AWG (or 12 AWG?) wire that runs from the positive battery clamp (along with the heavy lead). The battrey clamp had rusted and allowed the battery to shift back and forth. The smaller wire finally broke at the terminal connector. The break was inside the insulation, so it was "invisible." I crimped on a ring terminal and put it under the nut that holds the clamp to the battery terminal. All has been well since then...

Thank all of you who responded. The coil wire 'melted' in the distributor cap. Changed the cap and the coil lead and back to the typical Toyota again.
