1994 pickup - how to replace front turn signal bulb?

OK, how do you get the plastic lens off? I removed the 2 Phillips-head screws that are visible, but the lens won't move. It feels like something else is holding it on, but I can't tell what it is.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Dthomas, Since your pickup is around 10 years old, those lights have been in there for a while. Toyota lights (and most other accessory-type lights) have a little rubber gasket that lines the colored plastic cover to keep water out. I would assume that this is just sticking to the bulb housing. Ive had a similar problem with the break light covers on my toyota. You might take a small standard screwdriver and see if you might get the two to pop apart, without applying enough pressure to break the cover. I suppose it could be the case that the cover is glued on, but I know on my toyota the cover will just come right off. If you cant get it off, you can always just replace the turn signal all together, if you can find them used they are decently priced.

Are you sure the bulb doesn't remove from the back of the light assembly? Check to see if the socket that holds the bulb will rotate and pop out of place. On my '93 4Runner, you pull the screws which lets the lens assembly be removed then you pull the bulb out of the back of the assembly by rotating it and popping it out. Don't pry on the lens assembly as it is a sealed unit and you will just wind up breaking it.
