2003 4 Runner Windshield Replacement with electrochromic rearview mirror

Does anyone have any information on how to remove a 2003 4 Runner Windshield Replacement with electrochromic/compass rearview mirror? I just received a stone chip on the windshield and the autoglass company will replace it soon, just in case they are not familar in removing the trim and the wiring connection from the electrochromic/compass rearview mirror. The rearview mirror looks like it is part of the windshield, just need info on the trim around the rearview mirror and the wiring connections. Thanks!

The mirror is a simple add on kit so removing it should be no problem. The mirror itself just slide up on a mounit bracket that is part of the windshield. Suspectr the senso and wire channel are held on with double sided black sticky tape. Glass companies should be familiar with this.

The last time i got a stone chip , they just filled it in with special epoxy .

Thanks for the replys, the rearview mirror does indeed come off a mounting plate on the windshield, its held on with a star bolt and there is a quick disconnect electrical connector for the rearview mirror. These new windshields tend to easily get stone chips and cracks in them, need to stay away from the back of trucks....lol
