2003 tundra headlights - poor lighting

Has anyone else have a problem with the poor night visibility with the Tundras?? I can hardly see the road at night. Worst headlights I have ever had

Are you driving on the Daytime Running Lights? That would make night visibility very poor.

You can also upgrade the light bulbs to a better bulb. I really like the Silver Star bubls that come from Sylvania. This is a very easy upgrade to do.

Take your bulbs out ande see what the number is, I expect it to be 9007, but whatever they are doesn't matter. Get the number, then go to WalMart and match the number, then search the display for the same number, but with SilverStar on the package.

I suggest you steer clear of the blue bulbs, or any other color for that matter. When you are jinstalling the new bulbs, take extreme care to not get your finger pirnts on the glass. These bulbs burn very hot, and finger prints will damage the glass and cause the bulb to explode. If you manage to get a finger print on the glass, use a tissue wet with alcohol to wipe the oils off, then try again.
