22r head troubles

I had my head resurfaced and valves done on my 86 toyota 22r after blowing the head gasket. The shop I took it too had forgot that I had a cam on the head when I brought it in. I'm not too happy with that shop and now I am missing a couple spacers. There are two little metal spacers that hold the cam bering journals in place and one spacer that goes between the head and rocker assembly on one side that is now gone, these are pressed into the head itself.

My question is can I buy these spacer type things from toyota and if so can I bang them in rather than needing a press.

Also if I do get those taken care of how do I attach the cam to the head? The book sucks and I understand how the journals go in, but the book said something about assembly lube.

Do I have to use the plasti gauge to check bearing clearance if I just had the head done and my engine was rebuilt less than 40,00 miles ago?

Any tips on installing the cam?

Or should I cough up and take it to another machine shop?

Thanks much for any wisdom offered!
