22re running hot question...

I have a 1993 Toyota truck with a 22re fuel injected motor and have done just about everything to make it run cooler. Replaced fan clutch, radiator, power flushed the cooling system, thermostat, hoses, belts are tight, egr operational and working, radiator cap, 50/50 blend... I believe the sending unit is working correctly because when it does get hot (usually idling in a drive thru in the sun) it starts to idle poorly and stall. It is getting hot. However I have no temp guage other than the one in my dash so I couldn't tell you for sure it is is exceeding it's 190 degrees

The only thing left I haven't tried is pulling apart the water pump and check the impellers however I've never seen this happen before. Most of the time they leak thus loosing pressure and overheatingr. I replaced this pump 4 years ago.

Another thing I suspect is oil pressure which I haven't checked. I even tried some engine treatment "Prolong" to see if it might help if it was and no effect whatsoever.

The engine runs beautifully otherwise no problems whatsoever. It has only

80k on it since it's rebuild.

Any help or feedback is much appreciated

Thanks in advance,

Carey
