Can someone tell me where the coolant drain plugs are on the block of the 3VZE? I have two different manuals and both give a vague sketch. I don't want to remove something I shouldn't. TIA

Is the engine out of the vehicle? From what I understand, they are basically impossible to remove while the engine is installed.. IIRC, to get the drivers side one out, the exhaust manifold needs to come off.
The engine is still in the vehicle. Radiator, fan, alternator, air intake chamber, intake manifold, and left cylinder head have been removed.

Left (driver) side - there is a small round plug under the exhaust manifold directly below #4 cylinder. It's about the size of a nickel and can be removed with an allen wrench. Since you have the cylinder head off, that means the exhaust manifold is off and you should be able to get to it easily.
Not sure where the right side plug is.
