92 4-runner transmission problem

92, 4-runner sr5, V6,Auto trans., when you put it in gear it will only move the wheels about 1/3 of an inch. Cleaned the screen in the transmission, changed the fluid, minamul metal particals in old fluid, on the magnets. Any one have any suggestions to try that do not include a transmission shop$$$$ Thanks.

have you tried jacking the vehicle up off the ground with all four wheels in the air and trying again?

Did anything happen previous to the problem, or did you just go to drive it and it suddently was not working??
