i've got a 96 4runner SR5 that didn't come with the rear spoiler installed and I've been looking around at local junkyards for one to put on it. I've found one that is from a '94 4runner and I think it will work but I just wanted to be positive before I buy it as there are no returns and the junkyard guy won't let me take it out of the shop to check it out on my vehicle.
My vehicle has a rear brake light above the rear power window and this spoiler has an opening for it; so that is the only real concern right? It should fit as far as I can tell, but if anyone out there has firsthand knowledge, please let me know as it would help me breath easier about purchasing this part.
Also, is it hard to install these as there are no factory drilled holes? What does it take to put one of these on? Has anyone on this list done it before? IF so, i'd like to hear about your experience.
