Wanting grill guard or lightbar for my tacoma. It's for looks only. I don't do any offroading. Really prefer a grill guard because they look better. How much does the average grill guard weigh? Will it make my front sag? If the grill guard does weigh alot and makes the frontend sag I will just go with a lightbar. What are some good brands to go with?
My personal opinion is that both or either accessory on a vehicle that is not used in a manner befitting the accessories looks stupid. its like the Subaru outback wagon with ski and snowboard racks on in the middle of July, or, The range rover with the extra red gas can mounted to the roof cage for extra long trips between gas stations in the barren and desolate backwoods of downtown Atlanta, or the Thule "rocket box" on an empty suburban in the grocery store parking lot.
if you just have to accessories, get a nice hard cover for the bed and save some gas mileage too.
